It converts the line pressure from 1/2 PSI (14" WC) to 10" WC, which is required pressure for LP gas fire pit burners. Factory set to 10" WC, but adjustable to get the flame just right. Tailored to meet the unique requirements of gas fire pits, this regulator ensures the perfect gas pressure for optimal performance. Gas fire pits, with their taller flames and increased gas flow compared to gas grills, demand a higher pressure than other appliances (BBQ Grills, etc.) with a pressure of between 7” WC and 11” WC. This propane regulator effectively supplies the required volume at the appropriate pressure.
